Notifications

The Hunt County Portal has three (3) levels of access.

LEVEL I - SMART SEARCH is an anonymous search for use by the general public. You may search Court Records using Smart Search without registering for Portal Access.

LEVEL II - REGISTER is for use by the general public who wish to use the Payment Portal. Once you register, you will be given the option “Request Access”. See Level III to see if you meet the criteria for request access. If you do not meet this criteria, please click the Home button to access the Portal. The Request Access option is always available should your criteria change in the future.

LEVEL III - REQUEST ACCESS (E-DISCOVERY) is our E-discovery portal. This is a restricted access Portal for use ONLY by licensed Criminal Defense Attorneys with an active Bar Card issued by the State of Texas who are representing a Defendant with an ACTIVE CASE filed in the District or County Courts at Law in HUNT COUNTY, TEXAS. Defense Attorneys must register for Level III E-Discovery Portal using their own email address. We do not grant access to the Level III E-Discovery Portal if a generic email address (i.e. info@example.com, noreply@example.com) or an email address of a legal assistant/paralegal.

TO OBTAIN COPIES OF COURT RECORDS - Certified copies and plain copies of Clerk records may be obtained in person or by contacting the Hunt County Clerk’s Office at (903) 408-4130 or the Hunt County District Clerk's Office at (903) 408-4172 with your request. Copy requests will not be completed without proper payment.
